Silent Night Chapel

Visit the Silent Night Chapel in Oberndorf, where the beloved carol “Silent Night” was first performed on Christmas Eve in 1818. Beside the Salzach River, the chapel honours the song’s humble origins. Continue to the Silent Night Museum in Oberndorf, where exhibits and stories explore the global legacy of this world-famous Christmas carol.
