Christina Davies, Travelmarvel’s Australia expert, reveals how specially crafted travel styles are designed to bring each unique region of Australia to life. 

My favourite part of my role in Travelmarvel’s Australia Team is developing holiday itineraries for our guests. This involves creating entirely new tours or improving existing itineraries. With 2026 on the horizon, we’ve recently been in the development process, mapping out the best ways for our guests to experience every diverse corner of Australia.  

My team and I carefully curate itineraries guided by the invaluable feedback we receive from our guests. These crucial insights guide us in crafting new journeys and enhancing our existing tours. I was thrilled to design some new experiences for Travelmarvel’s 12-day Wonders of the Kimberley by 4WD tour. With new additions including an outback stay at Mount Elizabeth Station, and an extra night at the premium Bell Gorge Wilderness Lodge, I believe this tour is now at its finest. In contrast to the rugged Kimberley, our 11-day West Coast Discovery by 4WD journey explores Western Australia further south, where beautiful turquoise waters, fascinating mining towns and the inimitable waterfalls and red-rock gorges of Karijini National Park await. By combining these two immersive voyages on the 22-day Kimberley and West Coast Adventure by 4WD tour, guests can tick off their Western Australia wish list in one seamless expedition.  

Evolving our tours isn’t just about adding new stops or combining routes, it’s also about reimagining how we travel. Previously operated on large coaches, select Australia itineraries are now part of our new Small Group Touring program. Travelling on our custom-designed 4WD vehicles, guests can traverse remote country and uncover lesser-known destinations in comfort with a maximum of just 22 guest guests on board.  

After trialling a brand-new Small Group 4WD Tour in South Australia this year and receiving resoundingly great feedback from guests, we’ve now permanently included the eight-day Explore the Eyre Peninsula itinerary in our repertoire. The journey features a captivating blend of wild coastal beauty, authentic outback charm and gourmet inclusions like oyster and wine tastings.
